This huge clock in made of 1/2" wood. Each ray is separately cut out, routered, and attached to the base of the clock. The ring of numerals is raised about 1/4" above the rays and center. The numerals are carved into the smooth ring. The rays and center of the clock have a troweled/stippled texture. The clock is painted in a distressed/antiqued fashion with metallic golds, bronzes, coppers and accents of silver.
